A great beer from a great brewery that seems to be mildly obsessed with umlauts, but that's okay; the Beerman has been to a Blue Öster Cult concert or ten so he understands. Anyways, this is a great wheat ale that tastes like it might have a touch of honey as well as lemon. It is perfect for a summer evening in the back yard.

The Beerman knows he's going to get arguments here but there are better beers. However it is full and rich and it's also lower in calories and alcohol than most other beers. The downside is that it's filling and the aftertaste can be a bit much, especially in warm weather. The Beerman sez to try this as a black and tan or better yet as a "Black and Blue" with Blue Moon. The Beerman gives a Black and Blue 5 out of 5.
