Beers That Start With The Letter M

Maudite Ale

A strong red ale on lees that bottle referments. This beer actually improves with age as long as you keep it at a fairly constant temperature. When it's fresh it is a smooth, mahogany-red colored ale but when you age it, it acquires a port-like flavor. It is also a serious knock-you-on-your-ass juice with 8% alcohol. Best served with pastas and red meats. Also great by itself. Warning: Not for light beer swilling girliemen.

Miller Genuine Draft

The beer that cost $12 million to produce or something like that. The Beerman read their promo materials years ago and has forgotten the exact figure. But anyways, it's a very drinkable beer that will always do if there are no good micros available.

Miller High Life

Back in the dark ages the Beerman would drink this stuff in friends' garages and basements. Now it's a bit too weak and sweet for the Beerman. Their MGD is much more drinkable.

Miller Lite

The first big-selling light beer. The Beerman says Rusty Wallace used to win races back when he drove a black Thunderbird with MGD on it. He loses in the Lite car.

Molson Canadian

Canadian for "MGD." Kind of pale/weak color, not much texture, and not much flavour. But other than that it's drinkable.

Best served with: Generic pizza or burgers.

Molson Ice

Strongish beer with not much flavor. It doesn't totally suck but it's not anything to rush out and buy either. Okay if you're drowning sorrows or just trying to get a cheap buzz. The Beerman Sez use it for beer pong but don't buy it if you want flavour, eh?

Moose Drool Brown Ale

A very malty brown ale with just enough Kent, Goldings, Liberty, and Willamette hops to keep it from being too sweet. The Beerman had this ale in Keystone, SD, during a cross-country Mustang rebuilding trip where the future Mrs Beerman probably earned sainthood. The geniuses at the Ford dealership in Denver replaced the radiator and thermostat for megabucks but not the $20 hoses. Of course the hoses gave out in Armpit, Wyoming, (population 4) and it started to overheat. The Beerman made it to Rushmore but it got too close to boil-over leaving and it was late. There was a restaurant next to the lodge that served a very good buffalo stew that went very nicely with the Moose Drool Ale. At least for that one night it was a perfect beer. It was the most satisfying beer the Beerman had consumed in a long time.
