Upper Canada Dark Ale

A rich dark ale with mild bitterness from the Challenger hops. This has been a favourite (Canadian lingo again, eh?) of the Beerman. It's more of a cold weather beer. They get a bonus for having really cool graphics on their bottle caps. Their website has cool recipes.

Maybe the best light beer the Beerman has tasted but it doesn't exactly have a lot of competition there. The Beerman sez make their Spicy Chicken and Shrimp Jambalaya and drink their Dark Ale or Rebellion instead.

Upper Canada Maple Brown Ale

Leave it to the Canadians to find a better use for maple sugar. It's a traditional brown ale with maple sugar added. This ale still tastes like a brown ale but has a slightly sweet after-taste. The Beerman sez it's usually very good but the aftertaste can be a little much sometimes.
